Reiki
Reiki is an alternative therapy that originated in Japan. The word "Reiki" is composed of two Japanese words: "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life energy or vital force. This universal energy can be channeled to promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being.
My energy work focuses on empowering you to participate in your own healing, providing you what you need to find true balance and alignment. My sessions are based on the idea that all physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual issues show up first in your energy field and balancing and nurturing that energy can be a profound and powerful tool in helping resolve chronic and acute concerns. During a session, my hands rest lightly on and just above your body, following a series of specific hand placements. Reiki energy is transferred through my hands with loving intention, activating your parasympathetic nervous system, promoting deep relaxation, and supporting your natural ability to heal.
I use the human chakra system as a conceptual framework for working with your energy. Chakras are energy centers within our bodies. Each of the main chakras corresponds to large nerve centers, our major organ systems, and the emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects of our lives.
I am a traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher. Usui is the most widely practiced form of Reiki, tracing its roots back to its founder Mikao Usui, a Japanese, Buddhist monk and spiritual teacher in the early 20th century.

Four-Handed Reiki Sessions: Deep Healing with Two Practitioners
Experience the transformative power of four-handed Reiki, a unique session where two Reiki Masters channel healing energy to you simultaneously. With four hands working in harmony, you receive Reiki on multiple areas at once, gently supporting you as you enter a deep state of relaxation, allowing your body and spirit to realign and find balance.
This immersive session is ideal when you feel stuck, depleted, or ready for a breakthrough. Four-handed Reiki sessions are facilitated by myself and Reiki Master Ronen Divon.
Two-Person Reiki Sessions: Shared Healing for Two
Two-person Reiki sessions are designed for couples, close friends, family members, or even a parent and child who wish to receive healing in a shared, deeply supportive space. With two skilled Reiki Masters working simultaneously, each person receives a full and focused energy healing session—side by side, or in separate spaces, whichever you’d prefer.
Whether you're navigating a life transition, seeking to strengthen your relationship, or simply craving a restorative moment with someone you care about, this session offers a sacred container for shared stillness and renewal.
Two-person Reiki sessions are facilitated by myself and Reiki Master Ronen Divon.
Sessions are held at my studio located in Durham, NC. Outcall sessions in Durham, Raleigh, Cary, and surrounding areas are available as well. I offer distance/remote Reiki if you or a loved one are unable to visit me in person.

It is not a religious practice. While many recognize a spiritual element to energy work, Reiki is not affiliated with any religion.
It is not a massage. Energy is channeled through hands that are lightly placed on and above the body, but there is no soft tissue manipulation.
It is not a substitute for medical attention. Reiki is a complimentary therapy that focuses on balancing the subtle, energetic body, allowing for natural shifts in emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical wellness.
